Resumen:
Pregnancy in adolescents takes place at a very early age, becoming a social and public health problem of global significance.
Mexico registers high percentages of pregnancy in adolescents and it will continue to increase if it does not take into account the insufficient sexual education, lack of
availability of contraceptive methods, poorly prepared professionals, and policies that interfere in the problems.
In 2005, there were 164,108 pregnancies in the world, which is one of the main causes of maternal death.
According to (OECD), one of every five pregnancies is one of Adolescents; this figure grew from 30 to 37 per thousand women between 2005-2011.
Education is considered the most appropriate way to achieve human and sustainable development, as in addition to intervening in social determinants of structural order, encourages the development of skills that include knowledge, skills and abilities that a person develops to understand, transform and participate in the world in which he lives. This is a category that seeks experiences that are based on one of the fundamental axes of health promotion such as education and communication to achieve health and human development.

The educational intervention will serve to empower pregnant adolescents for proper
management and monitoring of their pregnancy, identifying timely risk factors that put their lives and the newborn at risk, as well as redirecting the psychosocial problems that this implies for their adaptation in his new life.
