Resumen:
Introduction: Learning styles are cognitive and physiological traits that serve as stable indicators, where accountants perceive, interact and respond to their learning environments; considered in a multimodal system is based on various styles. By their personal characteristics they are divided into: active, reflective, theoretical, pragmatic.
Objective: To determine the learning styles of students of Senior Technician in Buco Dental Prosthetics (TSUBD) of the Faculty of Dentistry of the UAEM.
Methodology: Descriptive and cross-cutting study, with a universe of 79 students distributed over three periods of 2018-2019, the random sample was determined with 72 students, the Cronbach Alpha was calculated as a result of 0.892 internal consistency and Alonso and Honey's CHAEA questionnaire was applied, consisting of 80 items divided into four sessions, each section of 20 items corresponds to each learning style. SPSS Ver 18 Statistical Software was used for data analysis.
Results: The learning styles of the University Superior Technicians in Buco Dental Prosthetics (TSUBD), is the pragmatic style with a summation of 1,079, the reflective style obtained a summation of 1,069, followed by style, theoretical with 1,051 finally found the active learning style with a sum of 901.
Conclusions: The assessment of TSUBD students dominated the pragmatic learning style which means that TSUBD students are people trying to implement ideas. They like to test new ideas, theories and techniques, and see if they work in practice. Secondly, there is reflective style which means that students who observe and analyze carefully. They like to observe and listen, they are cautious, discreet and even sometimes perhaps distant.

Como nueva carrera técnica que dio inicio en la Facultad de Odontología de la UAEM, fue importante determinar los estilos de aprendizaje propios de los Técnicos Superior Universitario en Prótesis Bucodental de la UAEM, para conocer cuales serían las estrategias de enseñanza para estos alumnos.
