Resumen:
The central theme and the substantial part of the theoretical framework is the analysis of
the use of linguistic borrowings of English and Nahuatl in Spanish, which arose during my period
as a linguistics student within the language faculty at UAEMex. I focused my attention on the
historical part of my language compared to the changes I noticed within the same Faculty of
Languages, since speakers of different languages, use words from English or other languages
within our Spanish. However, as Spanish speakers, we are not conscious that our Spanish is not
only in contact with foreign languages but also with native languages of the Mexican territory
before the colonization, such as Nahuatl, Maya, etc.
